We are pleased to offer Mater Dei students the use of our innovative Library facilities for class projects, research help and resources, and as a quiet space to study. Modeled after university libraries, our Library is welcoming, modern, and a great space for collaborative and individual study.
LIBRARY COLLECTION AND REFERENCE SERVICE
LIBRARY COLLECTION | Books and reference materials may be checked out for up to three weeks and may be renewed. Overdue fees for books or any other resources are $2.00 per day.
REFERENCE SERVICE | The library staff is available before, during and after school to guide students to the best sources of information and to assist them in the use of our materials and electronic databases.

- Destiny is our online library catalog (OPAC) which can be used to view items in the collection, create resource lists, and checkout eBooks.
- Online Databases: Mater Dei subscribes to several online databases. Login information is provided through Canvas.

- We also strongly recommend using the Orange County Public Library Database Collection. A library card is needed for complete access.

- Staff members are available during school hours to support students with their technology.
- A limited number of loaner devices are available for daily use if a student forgets their device at home or has a low charge.

Monday - Friday | 7:30 am to 4:00 pm (excluding holidays)
Hours may vary due to school-wide events and in the summer; see signage at the front of the library for any updates to the schedule.
