MD Robotics
By joining MD Robotics teams:
Students get to:
- Learn from professional engineers
- Build and compete with a robot of their own design

- Mater Dei Varsity Letter program for Varsity Robotics Team

- Participate in different outreach events in the local community

Robotics Season:
- The Varsity Team, Team 4141, competes in First Robotics Competition (FRC) in the Fall (pre-season) at local events such as Beach Blitz, and in the Winter (regular season) at Regional events during which our team meetings are held more frequently and for longer durations. The "regular season" runs from January, through the end of March of 2024, however the team meets year round with team building, training, and strategizing sessions.
- Team 4141 participates in outreach events where they will go into the community and teach younger students about robotics, FIRST, and STEAM.
- The teams meets in room 707 from 3:00 to 5:00PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays during pre-season. The teams may also meet on some Saturdays from 9:00AM to 12:00PM and other days and times as needed.
- During the regular season in January, February, and March the team meetings will be after school from 3:00 to 7:00PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays and Saturdays from 9:00AM to 1:00PM with other days and times as needed.
