Mater Dei's English Department

Mater Dei’s English Department offers 17 college preparatory courses including a rigorous Honors and Advanced Placement track. With the goal of challenging our students to think, read, and write critically, the English Department explores a broad scope of the world’s greatest literature, genres, and texts. Development of vocabulary, grammatical proficiency, analysis, and reading comprehension are the foundation of all Mater Dei’s English Courses.
