Anthony Michael Barajas Acts of Kindness Scholarship

Mater Dei High School is proud to partner with the Anthony Michael Barajas Foundation to celebrate kindness on the campus of Mater Dei, Anthony's Alma Mater, Class of 2019.

About Anthony from the AMB Foundation Page:

On July 31, 2021, Anthony Barajas was tragically taken from us at the very young age of 19. He was a loving son, brother, and generous friend. Anthony's daily actions created a pattern of kindness that impacted others' lives for the better.

In moving through their grief, the Barajas family established The Anthony Michael Barajas Foundation (AMBF)  The AMBF was created within the Orange County Community Foundation to honor Anthony's lifelong legacy of helping others and continue doing good on his behalf.

God blessed Anthony Barajas (MD-Class of 2019) with many gifts and talents which he enjoyed and that brought joy to many throughout his short but fruitful life. He often thought of ways his talents could help others and wanted to make sure no one felt excluded. He was a friend to anyone who reached out in need. Anthony’s actions created a pattern of kindness that ultimately impacted others’ lives for the better. He represented Mater Dei's values of Honor, Glory & Love as a student, an athlete and in performing arts.
