OVERVIEW:
Mater Dei High School strives to offer our students a comprehensive remediation program. Students are eligible to take Credit Recovery for D or F grades earned from previous course enrollments (as reflected on their transcripts), focusing on mastery of concepts covered in the specific Semester of the course.
- F grades must be remediated (to D or higher) prior to graduation.
- D grades should be remediated for various reasons, such as college admissions, readiness for higher-level coursework, GPA, etc.
In-person classes, rigorous content, and consistent feedback collectively create an authentic remediation experience, enabling students to review prior content and prepare for future courses effectively.
IMPORTANT: Each subject/course is scheduled to specific Blocks, and students will directly register for your preferred time slot.
- Students can register for up to THREE (3) single-Semester courses in one Summer.
- All Semesters run concurrently.
- Students can select one Semester of a course per Block.
- For example, if a student wants to remediate both Semester 1 and 2 of Geometry, he/she should register for both Blocks 1 and 3.
COURSE DATES, TIMES, & FEES:
Credit Recovery courses are offered at the following dates & times. When registering, you will select your preferred section(s).
- Most courses are held on campus (in-person); please review the table below for specific course structures.

WEDNESDAYS are considered FLEX DAYS. These days are reserved for Office Hours, make-ups, labs, or other specific meetings as determined by the teacher.
Course offerings and schedule are subject to change. If necessary, registered students will receive notification of any modifications.
Visiting Students:
