Giving

Alma Mater

The Alma Mater is sung at the end of every school rally, at athletic events like football games, class commencements, and more.

Music was composed by Paul Salamunovich, a Grammy-nominated, American conductor and educator.

The lyrics of the alma mater were written by Sr. Bridget Clare McKeever, Sister of Saint Louis (SSL). The SSL order was an integral part of the faculty/staff during Mater Dei's foundational years. In writing the alma mater, Sr. Bridget articulated the official core principles of HONOR, GLORY, and LOVE which all generations of Monarchs continue to uphold today.
