Parent Association Council
MISSION
The mission of Mater Dei’s Parent Association Council (PAC) is to foster a vibrant, positive, and inclusive community in support of the school’s mission and philosophy. As a dedicated group of volunteer parents, we collaborate and assist with the school’s Leadership Team, Activities, Advancement, Admissions, Communications, and Campus Ministry offices to recruit volunteers, plan, and execute events, and enhance the overall educational experience for our children. By actively involving parents in volunteer activities, we aim to strengthen their connection to their child's high school journey while creating a deeper connection and sense of belonging for the entire family.
OBJECTIVES
Build Community
Through volunteering, the PAC strives to create a warm and welcoming community that embraces the diverse backgrounds, talents, and perspectives of all families within our school. By involving parents in school events and initiatives, we provide a platform for them to contribute their skills, talents, and time, fostering a deeper engagement with their child's educational journey.
Strengthen Communication
We believe in open and transparent communication among parents, faculty, staff, and school leadership. We actively seek to provide relevant and timely information to ensure that parents are well-informed about school policies, initiatives, events, who to contact, and where to find information when they have questions.
Create Shared Experiences
Volunteer opportunities provide parents with shared experiences alongside their child, fostering a stronger connection to their child's Catholic education. Whether it is collaborating on a fundraising event, supporting a sports team, or participating in a school-wide service project, parents and students can bond over shared goals, creating lasting memories and strengthening their relationship.
