Biography

About
I am a proud graduate of Mater Dei (‘01), as is my husband (‘97). It has been an amazing experiencing being back on campus as a member of our faculty. I teach Honors Anatomy & Physiology and Sports Medicine, and also serve as the Science Department Chair. In addition to being in the classroom, I love to travel. I have led a number of science trips around the world for our Mater Dei students. I also enjoy watching movies, relaxing at the beach and trying new activities. Although being on the go is a passion of mine, I also truly love my down time at home with my husband, our three children and two dogs.

What I Love About MD
The experiences and lessons I learned while at Mater Dei definitely helped mold me into the person I am today. The culture of family, support and love are woven into every area of campus. Our students are the very best and I am thankful to be able to give back and in turn help shape their futures.

Other experience: While completing my undergrad at UCSD, I spent two years as a research intern studying the social behaviors of great apes at the San Diego Zoo. I also grew up riding and showing horses. I competed for my college team and taught riding lessons at our barn.
