Biography

About

Greetings! As an alum of the Band, I am proud to work with students in the Instrumental Music, Choral & Vocal Music, Dance & Theatre programs of our Performing Arts Department. After graduating MD in 1996, I taught instrumental music to elementary school students in the Mater Dei Music Academy. Today, I manage our major events including concerts, plays, musicals and more. My background in event coordination, music studies and general love of The Arts makes my job more of a treat than anything.

What I Love About MD
I love being able to see our student artists explore their gifts and learn new ones.

Other Experience: My previous professional life found me for 10+ years in product and executive management. I have run my own event management business for 15 years and love putting on all types of corporate and personal events. During college, I taught music lessons to elementary and high school students both through Mater Dei and privately. I am proud to be involved in my children's schools as PTO President, Carnival Chairperson, "Girls Who Code" Moderator, classroom volunteer, and more.

Education: Associates of Arts in Fashion Design- Brooks College; Study in Music Education- Cal State Long Beach
