Biography
About
I am currently teaching Geometry and Algebra 1 in our College Readiness math courses. I am dedicated to helping each student reach their individual level of success in Math. I am currently in my 36th year at this great school of Mater Dei. I started high school as a freshman in 1981 and I really have not left since then. The priests of this school, way back then, used to come to eat Mexican food at my grandmother's house. Mater Dei has been a part of my family in good times and bad. My wife and three children are all graduates of Mater Dei.
I am proud and honored to have received the Spirit of Josef Award this year. I remember him fondly. When I was a student here at Mater Dei, I did not understand the life lessons he would share with me and the other students back in the 80’s but do understand them now and try and pass those on to all students in my classes.
What I Love About MD
The one thing that keeps me wanting to stay at Mater Dei is being able to share my Faith. There are other things too numerous to list. Come have a chat and I will share.
