Fall Semester Exams

First Semester Exams are just a few weeks away, beginning Monday, December 15 through Thursday, December 18, 2025. That's 2.5 weeks after Thanksgiving Break.

Students are encouraged to communicate with their teacher if they have any missing work and make the most of this time to ensure they are prepared to do their best.

Semester Exam Attendance & Requests to Reschedule Exams

As stated in the Parent-Student Handbook (Section 1103 page 67), all students are required to be present for semester exams [including aide and athletic/lifting blocks].

If you do not have Block 1, 2, 7 or 8, you do not need to be on campus during those designated times.

Requests to Reschedule Semester Exams (detailed in Section 1200 page 75 of the Parent-Student Handbook)
On occasion there may be a student who needs to take an examination earlier than scheduled. When this need arises, there following is required:

Parent/Guardian must submit a request, in writing, to the student’s attendance coordinator (Mrs. Hernandez (Letters A-K) [email protected] or Mrs. Sonia Novella (Letters L-Z) [email protected]
Once the student receives approval, a $50 fee (per exam) is submitted to the Attendance office.
Attendance Office issues “Approved Absence Make-Up Work Request” form, which the student brings to teacher for signature.
Student and Teacher reschedule the exam.

Wednesdays, immdiately after school

Math: Located in the LCC (in the library)
English: Located in Room 406

Office Hours Prior to Fall Semester Exams

- Monday, December 1 from 2:30 to 3 p.m.
- Thursday, December 4 from 2:20 to 3 p.m.
- Monday, December 8 from 3 to 3:30 p.m.
- Thursday, December 11 from 2:20 to 3 p.m.
