Volunteer Requirements at Mater Dei High School

• ALL volunteers must compelte Safe Environment training by setting up an account at: http://orange.cmgconnect.org/ and completeing the course called “A Safe Haven - It's Up to You." CLICK HERE for Spanish. 
• After completing the course, please save your completion certificate. You may either bring a printed copy to your fingerprinting appointment or email it as a PDF attachment to [email protected].
• This training will be valid for 3 years from the date of completion.

Directions: When arriving on campus, park in the Monarch Way parking lot and go to the Main Office. You will be directed to the Fingerprinting Office from there. 

 

Note: Fingerprints can take up to 10 days to clear. 

• Volunteers will be required to submit a TB Risk Assessment/Certificate of Completion.
• Please reach out to Aimee Boyles our school nurse in the Health Office at [email protected] to schedule an appointment for a Risk Assessment or stop by the Health Office during school hours.
• If risk factors are identified, then an additional examination will be required to determine if the volunteer is free of infectious TB.
• The examination must be conducted by an independent physician, physician’s assistant, or nurse practitioner.
• The TB Risk Assessment and/or test is valid for 4 consecutive years of volunteering.
