Brian Luna Jr. '09

He is currently a Marine recruit at MCRD San Diego and will graduate on June 3, 2016. Upon graduation Brian will be going to Pensacola, Fl where he will be attending school for his MOS of Aviation Mainetance and will be there for 18 months. Brian looks forward to his new career in the Marine Corps and serving his country Brian is the son of Brian Sr. '85, grandson of Henrietta Romero Luna '57, brother to Damon '11 and Mia '15.

Nikki Noya '96

After high school Nikki Noya '96 attended University of Rhode Island on a volleyball scholarship, where her team won the Atlantic-10 Conference Championship. She traveled all over the world, and upon her return she joined the AVP Next Pro Volleyball Beach Tour and played across the United States.Through her extensive travels, she realized how obesity, poor nutrition and lack of exercise affected the lives of so many around the world and across the United States. With the education and tools that she had acquired and the passion that she felt for helping others, she knew that she had to give back and share what she had learned. She knew that exercise and smart eating habits were not enough; she had to educate her clients on how true beauty starts from within. This is where the Nikki Noya brand was born. As a Wellness Coach, she strives to empower clients to achieve vibrancy, energy, radiance, and beautiful health.

Cristina A. Guido '04

Cristina joined the Smiley Wang-Ekvall, LLP group the Fall of 2015. She brings to the firm experience in civil litigation from inception through trial in both state and federal court. Prior to Smiley Wang-Ekvall, Guido was a member of a trial team that successfully defended a $24 million breach of contract claim in the United States District Court, Northern District of California. Guido was a judicial extern to the Honorable S. James Otero, United States District Court, Central District of California, as well as to the Honorable Theodor C. Albert, United States Bankruptcy Court, Central District of California and received her Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School where she served as the managing editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review as well as co-president of the Women’s Law Association. She earned her undergraduate degree in history from the University of San Diego.

Mattie Taormina '89 has been named director of San Francisco's Sutro Library, a branch of the CA State Library. Mattie is a special collections and archives librarian, most recently at Stanford.

Stanley Johnson '14

Stanley Johnson '14 played basketball for the Arizona Wildcats, and earned All-American honors his freshman year. After his first season, he declared himself eligible for the 2015 NBA draft and was selected eighth overall by the Detroit Pistons in the 2015 NBA draft.
Stanley missed a few games this season with a shoulder injury but is now back and he and his Detroit teammates are trying to secure a playoff spot. He is averaging 23 minutes and 8 points per game this season.

Rob Parke '00 doesn’t just develop apps. He teaches others how to build their own apps, too. Rob works at USC in Los Angeles in the Information Technology Program (ITP), where he is a part of the Viterbi School of Engineering. Interestingly, their main mission there is to teach technology-related courses to non-engineers.

Greg Kelly '69

After 43 years, Greg has closed the doors on his hobby shop in Tustin. He moved to St. Paul, Minn. to be with his bride - Dana Dahl Valencia '69. The couple reconnected at their 45th reunion last year. The tiny shop in Old Town Tustin helped inspire generations of kids to pursue careers in engineering, aerospace and construction. It has been a gathering place for hobbyists to talk about their latest projects and about life.
