Mater Dei High School is proud to welcome Adrian Games as the new Head Coach of the Boys and Girls Tennis Programs. Coach Games brings more than three decades of elite coaching experience to Mater Dei, with a distinguished career that spans nationally recognized academies, private clubs, and high school programs. Most recently, he served as Director of Tennis at ProEdge Tennis and Advantage Tennis Academy in Southern California, where he coached high-performance athletes aspiring to play collegiate and professional tennis.
“Adrian Games is a dynamic and proven leader who will continue building on the strong foundation of excellence, character, and sportsmanship that defines Mater Dei Tennis,” said President Michael Brennan. “His deep commitment to player development—on and off the court—aligns with our mission to form leaders in Honor, Glory, and Love.”
A former touring professional, Coach Games trained with top Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) and Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) athletes and has developed junior players who went on to compete at universities including Brown University, Boston College, Columbia, Harvard, USC, Stanford, UCLA, and many others. His accolades include being named United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) Intermountain Pro of the Year and serving on the USPTA National Executive Board.
Coach Games is known for his innovative “Target Tennis” methodology that emphasizes technical skill, mental strength, and love for the game.
