2019-20 Lettermen's Club Award Application

MD Lettermen’s Club will be awarding grants to deserving student-athletes based on financial need and  participation in a Mater Dei Athletic Program during the 2019-20 school year.

This grant application is a competitive process. Applicants will be judged not only on the completeness and content of their application and essay, the successful applicant will also exemplify the “Monarch Spirit”. The applicant’s ability to present a positive “Monarch Spirit” attitude will be judged through personal interviews of selected applicants.

 To be eligible for a Letterman’s Club Grant, the applicant must also qualify for financial aid through the Mater Dei business office for the 2019-2020 school year; participated successfully in a Mater Dei CIF Sanctioned Sports program in the 2018-2019 school year; must have maintained a minimum 2.5 GPA during the 2018-2019 school year and cannot have been on disciplinary probation during the second semester of the 2018-19 school year.  Students will be notified by mail in summer 2019 if awarded a grant.    

All applications must be received by Friday, March 1, 2019 by 4 p.m. in the Advancement & Alumni Office.  
There will be NO EXCEPTIONS made for late applications.
Also, completed financial aid applications should be SUBMITTED through FACTS by February 15, 2019.
