Mater Dei High School will be awarding financial aid through the Alumni Heritage Fund to deserving students based on financial need, academic achievement, and extracurricular activities. Applicants will be judged on (i) the completeness of his/her application, (ii) school, church, and community activities, and (iii) the quality, form, and substance of his/her essay.
To be eligible for this aid, the applicant's mother, father, or a grandparent must be a Mater Dei graduate; applicant (i) must qualify for financial aid through the Mater Dei business office for the 2018-2019 school year; (ii) if a returning student, must have maintained a minimum 2.5 GPA during the 2018‑2019 academic year, and (iii) cannot have been on disciplinary probation during the second semester of the 2018-2019 academic year.
All AHF applications must be received by Friday, March 1, 2019 by 4 p.m. in the Advancement & Alumni Office.
There will be NO EXCEPTIONS made for late applications.
Also, completed financial aid applications should be SUBMITTED through FACTS by February 15, 2019.
Applicants will be notified by mail in summer 2019 if awarded financial aid through the Alumni Heritage Fund.
