Faith Fest & Family Mass 2026

As we conclude Catholic Schools Week and celebrate 75 years of Mater Dei High School, we invite our Monarch families to gather for an evening rooted in faith, reflection, and community at our annual Faith Fest & Family Mass.
Our celebration begins with Mass at 4:00 p.m. in the Meruelo Athletic Center, with Father Mark-Mary Ames '03, CFR, serving as our presider and keynote speaker. A Franciscan Friar of the Renewal, Father Mark-Mary is Director of Communications and Priestly Studies for his community and is widely known for his work with Ascension Presents, The Poco a Poco Podcast, and The Rosary in a Year podcast. He is also the author of Habits for Holiness and The Father.
Through modern platforms and timeless Franciscan spirituality, he invites people into deeper prayer and a more personal relationship with God. Ordained in 2018, Father Mark-Mary currently serves the CFR community from their friary in the Bronx.
Following Mass, families are invited to remain for Eucharistic Adoration and a community dinner, as we come together to celebrate our shared faith and the generations of Monarchs who have shaped Mater Dei’s legacy over the past 75 years.
All Monarch families (and guests) are warmly encouraged to attend this special evening of worship and fellowship.
