Mater Dei's Math Department

Mater Dei offers 16 courses in Mathematics all of which are both UC and CSU approved. Students are placed in their math class based on courses taken in middle school and their scores on the HSPT (High School Placement Test).

  • All Math courses include STEM projects to prepare for success in college and future careers in both STEM and non-STEM fields
  • Summer School advancement courses are offered for students who meet prerequisites and wish to accelerate their high school math journey
  • Honors and Advanced Placement tracks are offered
