Important Notes:
  • If you have any potential scheduling conflicts or requests (such as planned absences, requiring certain periods or times, inability to be active online for 3 or more days, need a fully online course) make sure to note them under "Notes" on the first page of the store. You will see a copy of your note on the next page. We will make every effort to accommodate requests are added to the Notes box on the Registration page. Late fees will apply after June 19th, 2020.

  • Our Tentative Schedule for 2020 can be viewed HERE. The tentative schedule for 2020 is based on Summer School 2019. 2020 class times should be similar, however, changes will occur. If you need a specific period, make sure to request it.

  • Please verify that you are registering for the correct course(s) prior to registering. "Credit Recovery" applies to courses that you have taken before, but earned a D or F and "Credit Advancement" applies to courses that you have not yet taken. Verify with the relevant Department Chairs or your Academic Counselor that you have met the prerequisites for any Advancement courses and that taking them may result in the placement you are hoping for in the following school year.

  • Math courses will include subscription fees for Aleks ($25) or Knewton Alta ($55). Subscription fees have already been applied to the registration fees.
  • Once you have registered, please see Information for Registered Summer School Students here.

Students who do not attend Mater Dei

Important Notes:
  • We would like to welcome you to Mater Dei for the Summer! We have a few simple requirements to ensure that you are able to enroll smoothly:
    1. Provide us with a copy of your current transcripts:
    2. Provide us with a signed note or email from your school's Academic Counselor, administrator, or other person in charge of credit transfers and placement at your school, indicating that you can take the course(s) with us at Mater Dei.
      • This is a very important step for you since we cannot guarantee that all credits will transfer or that taking a course here would result in the placement you are hoping for at your school. You need to verify this.
As of May 4th, 2020 we no longer require a Health Form and TB test because courses will be fully online.

Refund Policy

If a class is cancelled, or the student drops a class prior to the first day of Summer School (June 22nd 2020- must notify summerschool@materdei.org by June 21st 2020), fees will be refunded in full. If the student drops a class during the first week of summer school (June 22nd- June 26th 2020), 50% of the fees will be refunded if the Summer School Office is notified that the student is dropping the class by June 26th 2020. There will be no refunds for class(es) dropped after June 26th 2020. Classes will only be dropped when the Summer School Office is notified a student will no longer be attending. If a student is expelled from Summer School, no refund will be given.

No refunds will be issued if the student does not contact the Summer School Office by June 21st 2020 to correct any errors in course enrollment (e.g. student registers for Algebra 1 when Algebra 1A is needed, or 1st semester when 2nd semester is needed). Please consult your Academic Counselor prior to registering for Summer School if you are unsure of which course(s) or semester(s) to select. If you realize that have registered for the wrong course or semester, please contact us by June 21st, 2020.

No refunds will be issued if a student does not earn credits for a course and/or does not earn their desired placement(s) for the next school year. Students should contact the relevant Department Chair to ensure that they will receive credit for a course and are aware of placement requirements.

For non-Art Workshops only, students may request a refund up to 48 hours prior to the start of the Workshop by contacting summerschool@materdei.org. No refunds will be given after the start of the Workshop. No refunds will be given for Art Workshops if cancelled within 5 business days of the start of the workshop.
