Biography

About
Ms. Sones holds an MFA from the Ohio State University, has lived in 5 states in the US, the south of India and Dubai, United Arab Emirates. She has taught at the university level and loves working with high school students at Mater Dei. She teaches Digital Photography 1, 2, Honors Digital Photography 3 and AP 2D Studio. 

What I Love About MD
It is a great opportunity to work with a diverse student body, with students from across Southern California and the world. The creativity and expression of the Mater Dei students is inspiring.

Other experience: Ms. Sones' work has been published and exhibited nationally and internationally. She has also received several grants and scholarships. Additionally, she has taught at numerous institutions including California State University, Fullerton, The Ohio State University, National School of Applied Arts “St. Luca,” Sofia, Bulgaria and the Pilchuck Glass School.

Education: Master of Fine Arts-The Ohio State University; Master of Arts-California State University, Fullerton; Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Fine Arts-Wittenberg University. She has attended trainings in Emotional Intelligence at Yale University and holds a certificate in Social and Emotional Learning from the University of California at Riverside.
