Biography

About
I grew up in Southern California as the youngest of three. I have two older brothers. My mom was a registered nurse and my dad was an aerospace engineer. I love spending time with my husband Matthew and our dog Zen. I play competitively in the American Poolplayers League and my Sunday team represented South Orange County at the World Championship in Las Vegas this year! I am also a bit of a foodie and love going to museums.

What I Love About MD
I love how we are a warm community that welcomes all.

Other experience: I have also taught history at several middle schools and I taught Middle and High School English in Madrid, Spain.

Education: Bachelor’s Degrees in History and Art History (UCI). Master’s Degree in Teaching (UCI). Master’s Degree in Art History and Visual Culture (Lindenwood University-graduating May 2022!)
