How many Christian Service Hours are required to Graduate?
Students are required to complete 80 hours of Christian Service hours, 10 hours per semester, while attending Mater Dei High School, with at least 40 of these hours being Direct Service.
All Christian Service hours must be performed through a charitable organization or agency. Any service opportunity outside of a charitable organization or agency MUST be pre-approved by the Director of Christian Service in order to qualify for Mater Dei.

When can I start completing my service hours and how do I submit them? Freshmen may begin earning hours the summer before entering Mater Dei, specifically June 1, 2025. All Hours will be entered into a Mater Dei MobileServe account. |
INCOMING FRESHMAN Students will be given a Mater Dei MobileServe account on the first days of school. (DO NOT create a personal MobileServe account to record Mater Dei Christian Service Hours.)
Need ideas on where to start serving? For any service hours completed at a charitable organization over the summer prior to freshman year, please keep a record of the following:
***You will log these hours thru the MobileServe app at the beginning of the school year. |
