About:  Ms. Olsen grew up in central Wisconsin, and earned her Bachelor's degree from UW-La Crosse in biology with an emphasis in aquatic science. She spent 6 months working for the National Park Service in Richmond, VA and Yellowstone National Park, WY monitoring invasive species and water quality before attending Hofstra University for her Master's degree. Ms. Olsen moved to southern California and began working at Mater Dei shortly after graduating, and she currently teaches Anatomy and Physiology and Marine Biology.

In her spare time, she enjoys going to the beach, traveling, and spending quality time with family and close friends.
