Session Four: The Eucharist as Thanksgiving: Wednesday, 11/8
About: The Eucharist is a sacrament in which the Church both receives the gift of Jesus Christ and gives grateful thanks to God for such a blessing. Through the Eucharist, we are sanctified and filled with faith, hope, and charity, enabling us to respond to God's gift and give thanks to the Lord for all His goodness. During this season of Thanksgiving, we will examine how we can lean on the Eucharist as an act of gratitude in our daily lives.
Presented by: Erin C.O. Barisano, Ed. D., Superintendent of Schools - Diocese of Orange
Session Five: Get to Know Our Patroness – Mary, Mater Dei: Wednesday, 12/13
About: During this Advent Season, we invite you to pause and join in prayerful reflection on our Patroness, Mary, Mater Dei. This evening will afford us the opportunity to grow in our understanding of the wonder of Mary through her Feast Days, the titles in which we honor her, and the stories of her in the Gospels. Please join us in this journey of growing to know and love our Blessed Mother during Advent.
Presented by: Mrs. Jeni Dennin, Assistant Principal Catholic Identity and Formation
