Mater Dei 1950 Day
In the spirit of HONOR, GLORY and LOVE, the Mater Dei family will come together for our 2nd Annual 1950 Day - a day of giving back to MD during Homecoming Week on Friday, October 11, 2019.
As we did with our inaugural event last year, we’ll celebrate all that is great about Mater Dei while showing our pride and gratitude for the impact MD has had on our lives, in our communities, and across the globe.
We have received a $50,000 challenge grant from Darlene Shiley of the Shiley Foundation who will match EVERY gift received in honor of 1950 Day up to $50,000. All proceeds from 1950 Day benefit need-based financial aid at Mater Dei High School. Over 55% of our students are receiving aid this year.
Alumni, lifetime parents, current parents, faculty, staff, and friends – 1950 Day is an opportunity to share the Monarch spirit and make a donation of any size to support Mater Dei High School. Last year, nearly 25% of gifts received were from first-time donors. If you're wondering if your gift really makes a difference - it DOES. How many new donors will we welcome this year? Join us on 1950 Day on Friday, October 11.
