About: Although I graduated from Sac State with honors in Biochemistry, I have training in the medical field. I trained in first aid/CPR and as a nursing assistant in California at St. Jude Hospital. The medical field is an interest of mine, along with gardening, reading, camping and of course just about anything to do with Science. My senior project involved testing enzymes using HPLC and I was involved in an Air Pollution study at Cal Poly SLO with the University of Utah monitoring Sulfur emissions levels in the atmosphere from a Fuel Oil burning power plant nearby. I developed the Chemistry for Advancement course here at Mater Dei offered in summer to help those students who want to go on to AP Chemistry and I currently am Physical Science level chair in the Science department.
