Thank you for your interest in volunteering to work at the Mater Dei Bookstore! The Bookstore is in need of volunteers to help during the school year, during book buying days in August, during book return in May and June, and during summer for summer school. Volunteers who work three or more eight hour days are given first pick at used textbooks and 10% off of their total purchase in August. When volunteers are needed you will receive an e-mail. If you are able to help on the dates and times listed, please respond back and a confirmation will be sent to you.
As a reminder All Mater Dei volunteers are required to be fingerprinted and to have taken the Safe Environment Training class. Unfortunately, if you have not received clearance or if you have not taken the class, I will not be able to schedule you to work in the Bookstore.
Fingerprinting must have been done at Mater Dei. All volunteer fingerprinting is free of charge.
The Safe Environment Training Class can now be taken on-line. This site is very easy to use. After you have finished there is a certificate that will print out with you're your name on it. Please send or fax this certificate to the Mater Dei Bookstore. The fax number is (714)850-9585. Your name will be checked off our list and the certificate will be forwarded our Human Resources Department.
