Mike Fernandez
ATHLETIC TRAINER

This will be Mike's fifteenth year at Mater Dei High School. He arrived at Mater Dei after working at Magnolia High School in Anaheim where he served three years as a teacher and as the athletic trainer. His prior High school experiences include tours of duty at Fountain Valley and Huntington Beach High Schools. During his early years, he served as an assistant trainer for the Anaheim Bullfrogs roller hockey club. Mike’s previous experiences also include being a trainer for the U.S. Track and Field team, US Soccer Federation and the the Saudi Arabian Track and Field Federation for the 1992 Olympics. He is a graduate of Long Beach State and lives in Tustin with his wife, Tina, and children Anthony (an MD Senior), Kameron and Christian.
