Christian Service Program - Overview & Purpose
Mater Dei's Christian Service Program is an opportunity for our students to experience their faith in action by living out their faith life through spiritual and corporal works for mercy. As part of Mater Dei's mission, philosophy and criteria for graduation, students must complete 80 hours of service to the community over their four years at MD. With a rich tradition of volunteerism, each senior class graduates with an average of 80,000 collective hours - approximately 170 hours per student.
