Make a gift today Your Participation - The Value of a Mater Dei Annual Fund Dollar: A gift to the Mater Dei Annual Fund, regardless of its size, shows commitment to our school. Your support represents your satisfaction with Mater Dei and its mission. All gifts, large and small, are important. Mater Dei Annual Fund: Ensuring the Monarch Tradition In today's world, the challenges of education are many. We are challenged to provide the finest college preparatory education possible; to nurture our students to be caring, responsible citizens grounded in gospel values; to foster self-esteem and ethical values; and to encourage creative and critical thinking. We all share the responsibility of preparing our children to meet the challenges of the 21st century. Annual Fund contributions are the mainstay of Mater Dei's fundraising efforts. Each year, these gifts are utilized “where the need is greatest” on the campus. In the past these areas have included, Financial Aid for qualified students; quality programs and faculty; and state-of-the-art technology. This year the need is greatest in providing adequate amounts of Financial Aid to the over 30% of our families who require Financial Aid to attend Mater Dei. Annual Fund Makes a Difference: The Annual Fund represents unrestricted gifts of cash and stock made to Mater Dei by the entire school community. The proceeds go directly towards need-based financial aid. Over 30% of students at Mater Dei High School receive financial aid. Ongoing Business Partnerships Mater Dei has a number of ongoing business partnerships. Each quarter the Annual Fund receives donations thanks to your involvement in these programs.
