Scott Panique ’98 Memorial Fund

Scott Panique '98 was a four-year member of the Monarch football team. During his tenure at Mater Dei, Scott help lead the Monarchs to capture their second of 3 USA Today National Championships and during his senior campaign Scott received one of the greatest honors a Monarch can receive:  being elected varsity captain of his 1997 team. Scott truly embodied the 3 stripes: pride, poise and courage. Scott continued his football career at the University of Michigan, where he walked on and served as a fullback for all four years he played with the Wolverines.

Scott passed away suddenly on September 8, 2018.  He was a true Monarch and will be missed by many.  A memorial fund at Mater Dei High School has been created in honor of Scott and his contributions to the Mater Dei Football Program.  This memorial fund will assist a graduating senior (football walk on) with college expenses.
